I holed my left piston last week due to advanced timing. I'm working on fixing, but I need to replace the piston. My question is can I bore out one cylinder to 1st oversize and leave the other one stock, or do I need to bore out both and replace both pistons? Thanks.

your best bet if you are already in it that far is to get 2 new pistons and rings and bore both sides. Why skimp on it when you are already into it. You would'nt be saving that much money and the difference in weight of the pistons and the difference in cylinders may have some unforseen and unwanted consequences.
