Result of the OSP trial for trooper that ran over bike

The trooper should have received a stiffer sentence. Imagine what sentence a common citizen would have received under the same circumstance. The fine is higher for merely speeding 10 over the limit in Ohio. For what it is worth, I see lots of texting and cops looking at their in-car computer. The police should be held to a higher moral standard than the public at large.

A higher PERFORMANCE standard for driving!!! How many hours and tax dollars does a state spend on teaching Troopers how to drive?

The details are fuzzy now but way back in the 60's a Texas fellow was sent to prison for 20 years for having a joint. Yes, 20 years for a joint! Texas politics weren't too enlightened back then.

The OSU library was getting in a semi-rare book and a librarian called me to say it came in. I ran over to read it and before I got there some A$$#@!* stole it! I woulda given him 20 years. }:^[
