Rotor Paint?

I want to improve my brakes so I have been eyeing the XS Performance Rotors but there is one thing that I really hate about them! The dang Anodized Gold Centers on them. I know it is only a cosmetic issue but I want my bike to look the way I have it in my head. Is it possible to paint that section black? Is there a high temp paint that will work there? Caliper Paint?

The biggest reason I have debated keeping the Stock Rotors is the Black center and just have them Milled & Drilled. But it would be nice to also have the benefits of the lighter rotors as well. Has anyone tried this?

I like to stick with the Function over form adage but I like my form too!

I've painted the webs on numerous rotors with Krylon enamel without problems. If you're racing the heat would probably be to much but for the riding I do it's not been an issue.

You can easily and quickly strip ano w oven cleaner

Use the black caliper paint. That's what it's made for. It's supposed to stick without a primer coat.

If you have a John Deere dealer near you they make a satin black muffler paint that lays down really nice. It is pricey but it is nice stuff.
