Do it yourself, it’s not that hard. Cut off big lugs with a grinder and cutoff wheel. Then use a file or flap wheel to get it into shape. Clean up and polish. It just takes time. I shaved the left caliper mounts off the left leg and polished it without issue in an afternoon.

Yeah shaving really is a DIY project. Think hughes and some others did it in a lathe also.
Big ass rasp is a handy tool for filing aluminum. I like mineral spirits on the file to reduce clogging issues.
