Shock length recommendation?

Can you guys recommend a shock length for my cafe racer project? I am 5' 8'', 165 lbs. The reason I asked is when my bike was stock, I was on the tip of my toes. I just want to be able to plant my feet flat when stopped. I'm lowering my forks 2'' and installing seat pan with 1'' urethane foam so that should be taken into consideration too.

On a Cafe racer you want as much ground clearance as you can get so you can lean the bike over father in turns, letting you corner tighter at higher speeds.
But it seems you are aftger the look more than the performance. So try a 12 or 11.5 inch shock.
