Have to buy a tool...

Anyone knows which size the nut for the front drive chain sprocket has? I measured it to 37, but someone here on the forum said 36 mm.

Number 9 Guru, good to see you about!

Ran across this salt flats photo and thought the resemblance to be uncanny!
Don't suppose you'd care to fess up would you?

Best, Blue

been there done that on a few of the smaller bikes I've ridden back in in the day, now days I wonder what the hell was I thinking! I've been damn lucky come to think of it, laid out like that running a 350 H-D Sprint against a 750 honda once don't know if he gave up because I was faster or I was crazier, probably the latter

Before you buy that socket, you might check to see if your local Auto Zone has one in their "Loaner Tools". 36mm is a pretty commonn automotive hub/axle nut size.

No need for a crescent wrench, a hammer and chisel is the preferred tool and it gets the keeper open and closed too.
