I am selling what I call a 1977-1/2 because it was manufactured the fall of 1977, but of course it is officially a 1978. It's a Standard (E) model, not the Special. I am including a rare, almost-new, black 1977-design tank, It looks like the bountiful blue in the pictures but it's jet black. The tank on the bike is probably original but has been painted a metal flake black, the same as the side covers.. I'm not sure about the origins of the spare tank as it came with another bike I bought, which I don't need. The bike also has brand-new, never been driven on, tires and H-style rims, that are alone worth $1,000.
Lots of new parts installed and most other other parts have been cleaned and polished. Bike runs very well but the starter spins once in a while but it always starts. I'll be listing it locally in a few days on Facebook Marketplace and Cycle Trader, but I wanted to give this group the first opportunity. I am located in Virginia.
