Hey all,
Got probably a really easy question for anybody with a good running '80-'84 xs650. Been building my '81 xs with the single coil on it and i got confused with which plug wire goes to which plug.
When i found this xs laying in someones yard years ago, the wire that comes out of the right side of the coil (if youre sitting on the bike) was plugged into the left cylinder and the left wire into the right cylinder. But im not sure if thats right or wrong because it is evident that the original owner has tinkered with various things including the Ignition wiring. Perhaps he un-plugged them at one time and may have forgotten which goes to which. Can anybody confirm to me the correct way?
Also on a side note...is the left cylinder #1 and the right cylinder #2? Or the other way around?
