I am going to build my own new "single" seat. Going to go a low as I can without cutting the frame. you other guys are bold when you cut frames. I'm not there yet!

What I need is the fork that is bolted to the underside of a stock seat to put on the bottom of my new seat to allow me to use the stock frame slots to hold the front of the seat. I have a plan to clamp the rear of my "single" seat to each side of the frame just behing the battery but having a spare front fork would be sweeeet! I want to be able to switch back and forth depending on the ride of the day. If there is a place to go to buy one or if anyone has one I could get that would be nice.

Also, Mike's is out of stock on the gas cap seal for my '81 H. is there another place to get one? I am painting the tank and the seal is very cracked. Mike's is out 'til Sept.

I can help with the Gas cap seal cheap and works Great. Remove the old seal and add an o-ring like so
