SPeedometer after Changing sprockets

I am planing on putting a smaller rear sprocket on.

wondering what people do to speedometer to make it correct after such mods

or do you just deal with it hope its not to far off and hope that the law will look he other way

- should imagine that the speedometer calibration will only change if you alter the front wheel diameter

i guess i figured it was associated with the drive shafts rotation

nope. If you trace the speedo cable, you'll find it attaches to the left side of the front wheel. If you don't change the front wheel size at all, it doesn't matter what you do out back.
