Starter Suicide

Refurbishing a starter is definitely a good move. I did this to a couple of my bikes and I swear that I could drive them around the block on just the starter motor!

Who refurbishes starter motors, or is this something you can do you self?

Here are the before and after pics:

It's one of those deals where even if it doesn't need to be done, do it anyway to gain the improved performance.

Thanks all for the help. It seems like my problem was the voltage regulator even though early on I did not see high voltage. New regulator in , good voltage, good spark, compression and fuel. Until the next challenge......
