Hello xs650.com
I just started an account on this forum because I am about to start a bobber project for a friend.
The bike is a 1978 xs650 that is currently in the street tracker form of style.
First step in this project is to recoup a little of the money spent on the bike by selling off the parts we don't need, to buy the parts we want!
They are a custom pinstriped tank, and seat piece.. the seat cushion velcros on to the main fiberglass piece which bolts to the frame and is the rear body. the wiring runs right into main wiring harness (as pictured) rear blinkers and license plate holder are attached. Graphic # 69 small insignia below pinstripe reads "VanMan". there are a few small spots where paint is starting to chip, so may need a little touch-up.
the exhaust, I am not familiar with, but has some sleek curves for street tracker style, and gives off quite a beefy sound.. it is heat wrapped. (if anyone can identify this exhaust by the picture, do tell, i'd love to know.
i will post some pictures in the next few posts.
make me an offer, and i'll entertain it.. not sure what it is all worth.. i'll sell the exhaust by itself, but tank and seat piece must go together..
