switch gear

Has anyone any experience with the handlebar switch gear from Mike's XS? I thought I had some but can't find them in my less than well sorted shop.

I have some on a barn bike that I have in storage. (in a barn) but I may sell that bike and don't want to strip a bunch of parts from it.

I bought both left and right side switch assemblies for my 1980 SG from Mike's a couple of years ago. I was happy with the appearance and apparent quality, and they worked fine. The only problem I had was the red insert on the top of the kill switch came off at some point. It didn't hurt the function of the switch. It's hard to say how long it was gone before I noticed it!

Thanks, that's good to know. I'll probably be ordering some. I figure the knock off items must be at least as good as 30 + year old units.
