If its motorcycle oil, it will work fine with the clutch. Mobil 1 or Amsoil motorcycle oil is what I use.

hi i,ve got 2 classics,,,, both modded 1980 gs1000e ,,and of course my xs650 modded ,,, i did run only synthetic fortified 20-50 shell sx4,,, now its changed to 15-40 sx4 as it maintains its consistency as the 50 did not ,,,but my reason for using this was proved on a smokey motor,,, and also if i got caught in a town low on oil i could put a litre of mineral oilin without damaging the motor ,,, regards oldbiker
