Tail Light ideas?

Mounted a nice Lucas-style light a couple weeks back - The rubber gasket that came with the light allows for the odd curvature of the fender nicely. Plus it hides all the holes the P.O. did mounting their crappy light which is what really matters at the end of the day.

Cheers for all the advice.

This is what I built from an old XS tail light.

Found this at Mikes
http://www.mikesxs.net/product/11-2268.html

It has a nice clean, functional look to it. And with that half inch of shoulder on the lens, I'm guessing there's a least a little side visibility, too.

For $49, I'd buy it for my 1975 XS650 in a heartbeat, but there's ZERO info on the link about retrofitting, year(s), anything.

It might bolt on directly, or it might be generic and require cutting/drilling, etc. A short sentence (and maybe a side view picture) would probably pay off and convince a lot more potential buyers to jump.

Has anyone actually seen this light on the XS650? What year/model? Thanks in advance.

This is what I used. It's bright, has built in lic lights and does not require any resistors....oh and its cheap as hell for everything together.
