Here in Aus, we have the govt setting up internet blockers through the service providers in conjunction with the service providers, ( this is under the guise of stopping pedophiles accessing child pornography). No one knows what sites will be blocked and the Gov't first said it would only be a 2-3 hundred and if any one found out and published the list they are liable for a fine but another arm of Wikipedia, (Can't remember the name), published a list of 2,000 sites and a lot of them had absolutely nothing to do with porn, like butchers and hairdressers, just normal business. When the list was published the Gov;t said it would be more like 1,000 not the 2,000. Now the classification board is banning porn videos that depict female ejaculation, saying it is not a sexual act but a fetish, and videos that show naked women, ( over the age of 18) with small breasts, aka, Kera Knightly as they can be portrayed as juvenile so if looking at small tits arouses you then you will be more inclined to be a pedophile. But the classification board did say women over thirty with small breasts would be acceptable as they are obviously over 18.

As Xs650.com has nudity on the site them we will in all probability be subject to scrutiny from the moral police here in Aus. The spammer usaptotte's post showed links with pics, to streaming sites. These pics, (and very questionable that the girls were 18 and had small breasts), will qualify for a block on our site to Australia.

If they Aussie contingent suddenly don't post any more, in a few months when this gets up and running, (or could be any time in the future as the reviewing process will be ongoing), you will know our wonderfully moral righteousness gov;t has seen fit to class all of you XS650.com members as unfit sexual deviates who should be kept out of Australia
 
Who's the government worker looking up nude photos all day to decide what is acceptable and what isn't?

Not much we can do about spammers who take the time to register and are real people like usaptotte, other than banning them right away and removing their content. Hopefully spammers like that one are few and far between.

If your government is anything like ours, what people on the internet say they are going to do and what they actually do are different things. Also with the millions and millions of websites that are on the internet, I highly doubt they'll block this one if they are only targeting 1,000.
 
Hi Guys,

With the caveat that porn doesn't ring my chimes, I really dislike the idea of a government anywhere banning anything that is basically legal. China does that......but Australia?? C'mon---Australia is supposed to be one of the good guys.

I know it tends to be ignored of late, but I'm really thankful that in the USA we have our Bill of Rights!

The first amendment is going down the shitter there is a big movement afoot to shut down the internet "freedom of information wise" and its got nothing to do with porn....
They want to tax and license it and control the flow of information.NO DISSENTING OPINIONS. Every one with a web site or internet accsess will have to be licensed and approved of content by the world govt body as the US is giving up its control of the web....... censorship of all kinds is coming...........basically its a way around the 1st amendment

As far as OZ goes they already took your guns now there after your information.

Let's not make this thread anymore political than it is. Don't make me censor a thread about censorship. :D You can talk about what Governments are doing, but don't bring up the political parties or people making the decisions. That shit causes way too much drama. Remember the focus of this website is motorcycles.

Although I could not access this site from a library computer in the UK, I could access it in Dubai, which I would have thought would have far stricter controls than those proposed for Australia, but there is a big thing against bikers, (or bikies as they call them) at the moment here:mad:

Well some of the videos should not be shown at the children's hours on Saturday morning i would agree with. Show them late at night.

Shows the control religion has on the govt and opposition here in this country. Sorry this is running close to the no religion and politics guidelines of this site but censorship is tied up with the both of them here, (AUS), and it will affect this site if, as i think will happen, when the internet blocker takes effect.
