This Springer Straight?

I measured with a couple speed squares & some welding levels. Seemed okay to me. I also strung some string between the axle holes & center of the steer tube/head bolt, measuring from side to side with a mm tape & it looked good--

Got some other way I should look at?

Pulled the tension away from the fork & found the dynamic fork, for lack of a better term right now: the front fork, & found a soft leg, it kicks out about an 1mm or so & lifts to take a pee about the same 1mm. I re-tensioned it & it measured out square so I'm gonna run w/ it. The static fork, again for lack of a better term: the bottom fork, is solid & straight w/out a hint of sway, that I could find. Here's some pix of the crusty parts--
In the 2nd pix ya can see the holes in the rockers are lined up dead on. The springs are pretty crusty & I've heard stories of them breaking, not sure IF I'm gonna replace them or just soak 'em in some juice & try 'em for awhile, I know I've seen replacement kits for a $100 or so around--Right now moving on
