This was the day I brought home my new love. I intend to save this bike and make it beautiful. The parts, at this point, will be what I have on hand.
But the final version will be A 1975.

This is what it look like today. (day34). The 77 gauges will be replaced when i get a set for 1975. Tank too is incorrect. It takes time to build a work of art.
I want to ride this season. I can make the build correct over time.

Yes, looking good. I like to do the same, get them up and running so I can "ride and wrench" on the thing, then make it nice over the next few seasons. My '83 as I got it, up and running with a few changes, and as it is today .....

This is the OEM tail light on my 1975. Before and after I refinished it. Yes, I saved this Tail light. It was up in the air for a while. Managed to sand off my fingerprints too.
