Too THICK of wire guage?

Hey all,

I am going to replace the wires for my coils and condenser and am wondering if I need to worry about using too THICK of guage wiring. I have some 16 guage wire I was going to use but it looks like what is currently there is 18 or maybe 20 gauge. I wasn't sure if too thick of gauge would cause any problems????

if you go crazy with it, but i dont foresee 16 being a problem. i think i wired my bike in 16ga.

i wired everything in 16ga also.

to thick wont do any harm, more irritating to work with than anything....i ran 14 for everything. you could run 10 awg or 8awg fwiw.
