Torque values

One weak point of all my XS650 manuals is that the torque values are placed randomly throughout the book. I always have a heck of a time finding a particular torque spec.
Why can't they have a single page or two that lists all important torque specs? Not just engine, but things like fork caps, axle nut, triple tree, steering stem, etc.
Is there such a list?
