Tracker build candidate?

I don't even know who Kenny Roberts is LoL! I want a 1975 mx400 tank and one of Omar's fender/seats. The rest of it will come to me as I see things I like.

Aw man... Have "trackers" distanced themselves so far that people don't even care about flat track anymore?

You might make the same statement about me, but you didn't answer my question. How many Kenny Roberts clones have you seen in person?

Lol should I go take a picture in front of one lol! Will that make you happy? Your PANTIES are in a bunch too lol!

Guys my age don't wear panties. Not sure about your generation though?

Anyway, what I'm trying to say about the Kenny Roberts clones, is there is really only one main bike, the XS650, and only a few paint schemes with minor variations to make these clones or tributes. You could do a small 250 2 stroke or a a 4 cylinder Yamaha snowmobile motor in a frame, but thats another discussion. Now the type of bike you are building, be it called a brat, chopped, chopper, rat or junk, are everywhere and made from just about every UJM ever built, along with Harleys and Triumphs etc. Now to me that sounds like jumping on the bandwagon. Ride from coast to coast, and your style of bike can be seen everywhere. On that same ride I'd bet money in Vegas that you would not see 2 KR clones.

Ez guys leave it alone. Who cares if someone has KR paint job, or a custom brat? Each to their own. Dude was just asking how hard it would be to make a tracker from his XS...

Here is some pictures of the King Kenny Roberts, Don Castro and Gene Romero's XS's also Kenny on the AMA outlawed TZ 750 which was a triple screaming two stroke machine. For those of us who grew up racing motorcycles this was what we did every weekend and still to have the desire to to have bikes like these and still go to the races even just to spectate and talk with the guys twisting the throttle anymore. Kenny Roberts has done more for the world of motorcycles around the globe that few can compare to. This is the motorcycle that began his fame, later he ruled the Moto GP circuit, then focused his efforts in the factory racing development. Know is on to wine and cigars!

I say build what you want just as we all do not sure why some have the intent to tell you what or what not to build rather than just inquire, inform, assist and appreciate. Everyone has their visions in what they want, I myself would never tell anyone not to build a bobber just because I don't like them. I appreciate motorcycles and motorcycle people, motorcycles are a barrier breaker to all walks of life.

jdizon you do have some nice stuff no doubt man, you have a lot of money invested and talented people working on your bike and they are absolutely beautiful "motorcycles" but, some of your comments and just being a smart ass with a lack of respect is really uncalled for, it really takes away from your accomplishments, and the intent and goal of the forum. I have seen many threads where you just end up all tangled up in bullshit pissing people off. I would hope you can figure out constructive criticism rather than sarcasm, contribution rather than exacerbation. There is a very diverse group here you have a lot to contribute young man if you can just take a moment to reflect rather than call people out.

Know can we all just go bak to building our bikes and helping each other out when they need it?

Didn't mean to offend the followers of KR. I know he is like a god for the street tracker enthusiasts. I'll refrain from using his name in vain. Cool? I honestly have nothing against that style and I'm actually starting dig it myself and hope to build one some day.

Right on dude impressive! You will have far more interest from other this way and who know you may be a guy trying to sell your cool stuff to a crowd someday. Thanks again for the consideration on perspective.

Looks like the middle one to me. The guy wants $600 for both, only has a title for the one with fuel tank and wanted $500 for it alone. I think I'll keep looking.

Yes looking is good you got to find what you want, but if both motors are good and you have a clean title on one still a decent deal. I am sure they will be there if you decide to come back.

I'm pretty sure neither of them would run. Seems like a lot to pay for a frame and title to me but yeah they will be there.
