Make sure that oil pump is working and correctly adjusted. You haven't lived till you seize one of these at road speed ( don't ask)

I know you're not serious about putting a hardtail on that beautiful RD.
That would be blasphemy!

Just picked up a free RD barn-find over the weekend. A family friend with almost limitless parts. Unfortunately engine is seized. Depending on how it seized, hoping bottom end is in decent shape. But, since it was free, I'd feel okay about a new crank etc. I promised the girlfriend I wouldn't tear it apart until the xs was back together..... but I needed to pull the head to see whats going on.....
