triple tree help

hello friends, newb here. picked up a 76 and the PO said the front end had been swapped. did some research and looks like a sr500 front end. which is great and all but i am stumped by the top triple on this thing. it has no pinch bolts? just the top fork bolts. that can't be normal right? can't find anything that looks similar online.

Above shows the steering crown used on 1970-1973 XS650s (XS1, XS1B, and XS2). No pinch bolts.

Thank you dogbunny. much appreciated. looks like that must be the case. also have an xs1 front drum wheel so that makes sense. the forks are still up in the air, seem a decent amount longer than stock. but may just be off a '70 as well.
