So, my chain snapped and it broke the clutch pushrod during the incident. I’ve replaced the pushrod, the seal, sprockets and chain but now it’s no longer starting. I know the batteries working because the lights on and it seems to be getting spark. Compression is also good. And I can feel and hear the engine turning. What could it be? It was summing perfect until the chain fucked everything up

Not knowing anything about the bike, year engine, modifications and a pic from the opposite side will rarely draw comments pertaining to what you are asking for.

There is some wiring in there coming from the alternator and when the chain is smashing around and the
Sprocket and chain is replaced I would inspect that wiring .
Here was a gentleman whose ignition pickup wire was defect and it ran bad.
But depends on year model

There is a wire that runs from the Alternater around inside the engine sidecase to the Reg/rect, (if combined or TCI), or to the separate rectifier, (if a points model), and this runs past the front sprocket. It could have been damaged...............If you are running a PMA and Cap it may be causing your problems
