Here was mine till I sold it Ebay find $511.00 Non runner missing some stuff but over all not to shabby ! Cleaned carbs,Labor only Forks lowered 3" $50.00 Ebay rebel rear shocks $80.00 Some cheap mufflers, $80.00 new cheapo tires from Amazon $160.00 Flat bars $30.00 Used tank , seat, head light, pod filters left over from last project figure $300.00, We all have stuff in a pile in the corner three weeks labor on the week ends blasting rims paint polishing stuff ect. The bike only had 6500 miles so bearing and filters ect. all checked good O ya oil change and cleaned points Under 1500.00 plus I have all the good stuff that came off Tank, seat, 34mm forks ect. Fun bike to ride

Got it from the original owner with 12k miles. New topend with less than 50 miles, but the bike was sitting for 12 years in a garage.
Tank had previously been coated. Emptied the tank, changed the oil and cleaned the carb and it started right up with a new battery. Need a carb sync and front brake work and it will be ready to ride.

But I'm about to compleetly change her. here is my other scooter
abd they both meet your under $2000 too I got the triumph for $1600 because my next door neighbor took it apart and freeked out at how much was involved in get running again
woked real well for me!she didnt even have 6000 miles on her at the time has 8300 miles today

You guys in the states are so lucky - In the UK, we are looking at $2000 for a bit of a basket case! $3500 for half decent
