Greetings

I have ended up with a fiberglass seat pan from caferace.net for my XS. It has some quirks to it that create a bit of a challenge when thinking about upholstery options. I'm not using the stock mounting points for it, but there is a raised area on the right side to attach a bracket as well as a raised area on the left where the stock seat mount setup goes to lock in place. Caferace.net sells some neoprene pads that you can use for upholstery, but they are, IMO, pretty lame. I want to make a pad for it and upholster it myself but there's no real flat surface to mount it to the seat pan since there are two raised areas that will get in the way. what have owners of these seats done to get around this? Do I have to make a fiberglass mold of the pan itself to use as a base for upholstery, or is there another way to do this that I'm just not thinking of?

If any of you are using this seat, can you post pics of your setup?

Thanks
B
