Using a used cam shaft

My Cam lobes and rocker arms appear to be pretty worn. Is it possible to use a used camshaft in good condition with new rocker arms? Or will that cause problems? If I have to get both camshaft and rocker arms new, is there a good place to get an affordable (read cheaper) new camshaft? Thanks.

The only new cams are performance cams, the only new rocker arms are sold by Mike's and are not stock.
You mat find them on Ebay as NOS but you maybe searching for a good long time.
All engines run used cams and rockers. Finding a good used set of rockers and a good used cam will work just fine together.

Until I can get a picture. A mechanic looked at them and said they looked like a previous owner had run the bike low on oil.
