Valve keeper differences

Did the valve keepers change over the years? I'm cobbling my motor together from various parts I collected over the years. I went to reinstall the valves and noticed these valve keepers are different.

They will all hold the valves in place but can tell based on fitment that the bottom 4 are correct for my valves as they are nice and snug with no gaps.

Yes, there was a change. The early ones were more squared off, later ones rounded. You must match the keepers to the valves or they may not stay in .....

I don't have any pics of the early ones but here's some of the later rounded style. They're pretty easy to I.D. just by looking at them .....

Yes. @RustiePyles and I recently had to mix and match to find a complete set for his build. I didn't take any pics.

I got them from Tech Bulletin #386, so as long as it's right .....
