VIN Check?

Because I'm a nasty, suspicious old man, I'd really like to run a VIN check on my parts bike.

Most of the VIN check sites want a modern 17 digit VIN.

Does anyone know of a site or other source to check the old style VIN?

I'll be perusing my state DMV site as well.

you may try having the DMV(Demented Moron Vegetables) add a series of 8 X's to the nine digit number, and just for fun here's another list of 79 models

'nother question: On the "2F0" is that the letter "O" or a zero?

pretty sure it's a Zero seems to be (number, letter, number) on the other models so it would make sense if it followed naming convention.... which is funny I've always called them two F oh's not two F zeros
