Vin #

Sorry I don't have a pic of the date on my phone but it is dated 10/76. So that would make it a 77, but has features of a 78. Steel side covers, all paint matches. This what's confusing me, I'm so stumped. I'll try to get to the shop today and get some more pictures.
 
Ok guys I got to the shop, first let me say I'm an idiot. The date is 10/78, why I read it as 10/76 I don't have a clue (I guess the 12 hr days had me cross eyed lol). So cool its a 79, the engine was replaced the guy said and it appears to be a 79 also. So good now I know what I got and can smoothly continue the build. Also got that pesky starter clip tightened up and shes engaging now! I do have some electrical questions but I'll take those to the proper thread!
