Sold / Found / Inactive - wanted center stand that will fit a 73

I need a center stand and spring that will fit a 73
I really don't know what other years would fit
The PO removed it when he and or she decided to put extended forks and lengthened the side stand
Let me know what you got it don't need to be pretty just functional

I've got nothing but time I just don't know why with chain as the final drive someone would take it off. What years would work for the 73

I could probably go ahead and let go of the one on the 73 i just got. Can use the side stand to get it running before chop day. Its a little rust and crust but spring holds up strong.

Sounds like you have this covered, but in need it's not that hard to narrow up a later center stand to fit. Then use a gas wrench to form the tang to be a close fit to the exhaust. Bonus the later stands are stronger all around.

If he's a no show I have a friend who could do the work with me
Do you take over length of the stand a bit from both sides or can the 3/8" be off one side
I'm just curious how the center stand will work with the extended forks

Take the width out of the cross member wherever the welder deems best?
