Way Cheaper Bearings Than MikesXS

I think VBX sells KOYO bearings, same as Yamaha used. The main reason they sell them cheaper is they buy thousands at a time where Mike's buys 25 or 50. Larger amounts get bigger discounts on price.

On anything I'm fixing I will remove the suspect bearing, get the race numbers and call the local bearing place. They will usually have NSK, SKF, FAG or any of the good brands for considerably less than the motorcycle shops or Advance etc. I had a mainshaft bearing go bad in a Nissan pickup several years ago, the dealership wanted $145 apiece for the bearings. I bought the same thing in SKF brand at Bearing Distributors in Charleston, SC for $78 apiece (needed 2).

thanks, oak, im bookmarking that site. my bearings are still silky smooth, but who knows how old they are.

Do you? You can also find the same ones MikesXS is selling for half the price, at other retailers.

Just trying to help ya save a few bucks
