What are these 2 holes for?

Right underneeth the front tank mount, there are 2 threaded holes that slightly jut out from the inner corners of the tank.

In the bottom right hand corner, those look like they fit in there. What are they/what purpose do they have?

Figured it out. They are fuel barbs. Was rattling my brain because I couldn't see what they were or why they were needed. Makes sense though with the deep tunnel.

But then this spawns another question. If the fuel barbs are there, how is someone suppose to red kote/kreem the tank? wouldn't the barbs either get sealed up, or the threads would get covered?

they are for a crossover fuel line between the tank sides the petcock goes in the third hole

You'll need to put blind pipe plugs in them when you go to seal the tank.
