What size it the spark plug socket?

What size it the spark plug socket wrench needed to remove the plug? I thought maybe I didn't write my question correctly the first time. I seem to have about five 5/8 spark plug sockets and they are too small. Thanks.

7/8 or 13/16ths off the top of me head.....it's the standard size for most older american autos.
