what year is my bike?

the title says 79 but the manual that came with the bike says 78. it has single front disc and mag wheels. I think its a special.

78 79 are the same i have 78 79 with 2fo prefix

I believe it is 10/78. the valve clearance specs for intake valves are different for 78 and 79 in my clymer man.

Ignore that anyways, Yamaha changed their mind on valve specs a few times through the years but they didn't change the parts!!!!!!!!

the .0024" and .006" is what I use. Actually I use a snug.003 cause my .0025 gauge is torn out of the holder.
