Lucky you... I got the windows open and repainting the wood stove. Rust spots were gettin' kinda ugly.71 and sunny

VHT header paint. Lasted about 10 yrs last time. 'Course, it do stink a bit the first time you fire it.
Just need one of these to go with it.

I enjoy the smell of hot paint. Reminds of the first start on a fresh motor. The wife..... not so much.

We just use the stove to supplement the furnace.
Got about a cord and a half (oak and ash mix) seasoned and another that still needs splittin'. Been a lazy bugger lately.

Even the stove black, or at least the stuff I used last time, can smell bad the first couple time I did the stove upstairs. Not too concerned about the looks of the old stove in basement that also heat my office. then agai as it has been not refinished in probably well over 20 years it still looks pretty good!
