Brian, here is a pic of a complete original 19 steel wheel/hub I bought just for the hub. It has the same pattern I followed and what 5 twins showed. No reason a 19in 36 spoke shoulderd aluminum would be any different lace wise. Must be something different about a 18 inch? Did a XS650 ever have a 18 inch front disc brake wheel anyway?
Ok. So I'm in need of assistance then. The spokes are not even to the ends of the nipples on either of the wheels. They look correct, or at least based on all my measurements and pictures I have.
BTW, they aren't trued or tensioned yet but slightly tightened the same on each spoke.
