Will a XJ650 maxim front rotor fit the XS ??? I hve searched to no avail

I know that some rotors will interchange. Last one I picked up was from a XS850S, I found out that they use diff size front rotors :/. I have been looking for this info but can not come up with it. Will a XJ650 or any XJ for that matter front rotor fit the XS? Any info is very much appreciated. Thanks

Tthat's the thing. I have seen them or atleast listed as them, have been slotted. The info that is out there is vague, not the clearest. I don't know, these bikes are new to me withen the past few months, so it's learning exp in the interchange areas. I did find tht the 77 and after seem to work on each other to some extent besides the 850 special. So maybe The title should have been different. I found some info but not the clearest. I just don't want to buy another rotor that is wrong. Lol

Some XS1100 special and XJ1100 have slotted rotors that are bolt on to the XS650 77 up.

Well just got a message back. It would seem that a 82-82 XJ650 disc is to small to work. Gonna keep a eye out for the 1100 ones.

On my XJ650 Seca The center hole where it bolts to the hub is way bigger. On my friends XJ750 Maxim The front brake rotors will bolt onto the front of the XS650 but are too small. They are the same size as the rear rotors.
The XS750, 850 and 1100 Specials used a leading axle fork and used the smaller rotors and a different caliper. The Standard versions used a regular fork and the larger rotors and the same calipers as our XS650's.
When I first started looking for brake parts I bought some of the wrong parts.
Be sure you ask a lot of questions on diameter, thickness, bolts circle diameter and center hole diameter before you buy. It may save you buying the wrong parts.
