wiring problem,help

Ive rewired bike everythings working great but battery wont keep charge! Its a new battery,and every thing was fine before! is it the break in the arrow marked red wire ive put in mt wiring diagram in my "photo album" ! would be very grateful if could check it please! Karlo Liverpool,England

The diagram you posted. The red wire from the rectifier needs to hook to battery positive through a 20 amp fuse.
The brown wire from the regulator needs to hook to battery voltage after the switch.
I like this diagram.

i cut and fed my own blue wire into the red from rectifier but left the red blank. So if I re live the red with fuse,as you said, will this fix the lack of battery recharging? thanks for reply! IT was my first rewire,played it by ear,should have done more reserch first was a nightmare took me two weeks dumped about 27 wires it was a mess , but im happy with finish when i get the battery recharging sorted.

When I rewire a bike I like to stick with the stock colors. Avoids confusion.
Looking at your diagram is confusing. I suggest you start over.

You need two wire to charge
RED from stator and brown to ing switch
You have to make a loop RED WIRE GOES TO BATTERY WITH A FUSE
BROWN GOES TO ING ON
ALSO MAKE SURE ALL YOUR BLACK WIRES ARE GROUNDED GOOD
