Wanted - wtb, speedometer gear

when i bought my xs the speedometer never worked and i wondered why because if i put a drill on the cable the speedo worked. and then i took the wheel off and the washer type piece that has teeth on it to tie into the actual gear was missing. if anyone has one to spare and wants to sell it i would like to purchase it. Thanks

does the year make a difference? or wheel? I have a couple of them lying around from a 1985 and a 1977.

im pretty sure it doesnt make a difference but im not sure. my bike is a 79 special with mag wheels. hopefully someone else may chime in that knows

I dont have one to take a pic of. I only need the washer part that actually goes on the wheel. I think it goes under the bearing seal. I have the actual gear and everything else
