In Austin MN there is a Spam museum. It's actually very interesting.
It's all pork shoulder meat. I have toured the Spam lines in Austin and saw every step of it being made.
I can remember my mother making fried Spam sandwiches when I was a kid. Didn't have it all the time but did have it a few times a year. I'll eat it about once a year. It's saltier than I care for.
If you knew what went in Pepperoni you may ask for Spam on your pizza instead.

Yeah - I like it too but I also agree. It is actually pretty danged dangerous for use on a road.
I don't know how it is in other countries but in Canada, it is illegal to park beside a road facing the wrong way. In other words, if you are parked off to the right side of an eastbound lane, your car must be facing east - and for the same reason related to safety.
