XS1 and XS2 pistons

Already managed to buy the wrong pistons on my XS2 so I dont want to make the same mistake again.

I have the opportunity to buy some XS1 pistons, are they the same as the XS2 pistons (256 engine I checked the conrod)?

Yes, they're the same, except for the very early XS1 higher compression.

The 256 pistons came with two different compression ratios.
All XS1 and most of XS1B & XS1F had the higher compression version of the piston (8.7:1)
The late series (last 2254 made) of the XS1B / XS1F had the low compression version of the piston.
The XS2 & 1973 TX650 had the low compression version.
