I've got a '70 XS1 that has a Kawasaki dirt bike front end on it, just so it can be moved around. I measured the neck, and it's about 8 to 8-1/8" long. I just happened to have a '72 CB360 drum front end laying around, the neck on the CB360 is 8-1/8" as well. I can't use that front end, but what other options do I have to put in? Any of the drum brake RD's work? I like the look of the drum so I'm pretty solid on wanting one. I have a XS1 front drum on my '80 and find the stopping abilities quite good.

Hey, vorhese. I'm also quite satisfied with my XS1B front drum brakes. Can't tell you anything significant on front end swaps, but there's plenty threads here that cover that. Here's a link to the 'vault' thread that lists axle and steering bearing sizes that may be useful:
