Hope my third try goes as well, sprung for a new gasket for the sender on the XJ11, while the tank was off I checked my eyeball carb synch with gauges and moved one screw maybe a 1/16th turn. IE visual did the job. Also shortened a bunch of fuel lines 'round the octopus.
Now gotta go get gas and check operation/leaks. I SO need to see the tailight of that bike for the last time.
