XS2 Brake Caliper Question

Looking to rebuild or replace a worn out XS2 front brake caliper. I was looking at Mikesxs part 08-6008, Early Caliper but it indicates 74-76 years only. Can anyone confirm that it will not work on the 72 XS2? The rotor does not bolt to the hub like later year's so I'm guessing will not work and wil have to rebuild instead?

I think the mikes unit will work if you swap the mounts. I might be able to compare the 2 types out in the shed.
