XS650 Guru
I've decide that I don't want to continue trying to fit these XS500 wheels to my XS650.
I was unaware when I purchased them that there are differences between the 500 and 650 Pentagram wheels.
These are rare wheels. Dealer accessories from the '70's, believed to be made by Shelby Dowd. I have a restored pair of wheels for an XS500, plus a NOS (new old stock) front wheel for an XS650. I do not want to separate them at this time.
Also included are all spacers that were on the XS500, the caliper holder, a supposed good caliper, caliper hanger, rebuilt Hurst Airheart rear master cylinder, new brake hose, and all hardware, fittings, etc., that came with the wheels.
The XS500 front and rear wheel have been hand polished and paint detailed. They have new All Balls bearings installed. XS500 rotors included. The rear wheel has some nicks on the lip that could be removed with power tools, but I just hand polished them.
I will also include some spacers I made to center the rear wheel on an XS650. You could make these work on a 650, I suppose. I never got around to checking chain alignment. You would have to figure out spacers, etc.,
The rear brake system is all rebuilt except the caliper and it's supposedly good, but no fluid has been run through the system yet.
These were expensive to buy and I've spent lots of time on cleaning them, rebuilding them, bearings, brake parts, etc. I won't give them away. Prefer to sell all three wheels and all accessories as a bundle at this point.
Asking $750 for EVERYTHING. Make offers, but don't low ball me. I'll keep them before I lose a tone of money on them.
