Hi all. just got an old 650 that had these in a bag labeled “air box”. Wondered why they would’ve been taken off and not replaced? and if necessary pieces? The homemade washers were with them

I'll call them air tubes for a lack of something else.
Checked on some extra parts and pieces out in the barn and they are from the air box. Not sure why they would be removed, might speculate it's for more air, though some folks will drill extra holes in those plastic air boxes for more air, which might be what those plastic washers are from. They look to have been drilled out with a hole saw. An old XSJohn (RIP) mod.
