Oh there are a few in Oregon . (to be continued)It seems amazing that there are still so many unmolested XS650s out there - particularly early ones. I thought that they had either all been chopped or restored....
....or were hidden in a barn near North Buxton, ON or in Baraboo, WI....

I don`t think I`ve ever posted this bike or said anything about it but I bought this one for $600 on the KC CL. Ran great and I was going to cut it up for my Scrambler project but just couldn`t do it. I rode it around the block a couple of times and sold it to a friend who put it back on the KC CL and sold it back to a guy in KC. Go figure. Sure was a nice bike though. My Scrambler donor is in the background of the last pic.

I'm sure a seller would rather have cash.I'd give my right one for a blue one....
I'm not an expert by any means but this looks to be an unmolested survivor too..in NC no less...I love the '73 TX650...Ranks right up there as my favorite year..'76 and '77 next respectively...It seems amazing that there are still so many unmolested XS650s out there - particularly early ones. My first Yamaha was a TX650. This is one reason it's my favorite, the other reason can't be revealed without consent from a third party.
Ha where?! I've been hunting for a 76 for months!View attachment 145165 Oh there are a few in Oregon . (to be continued)
