Back in 1983, I decided to buy a motorcycle. The Heritage Special was the only bike under consideration.
The Daytona Beach Yamaha dealer had an '83 and they fitted it with that KQ seat and I believe they had the bike priced at $2700. I asked if I could buy it with the stock seat instead. They said, "no". I walked.Nice tires?!? Showroom condition?!? Last show I went to they polished the engine cases.
