xs650 rear rim question HELP !

Does anyone know if you can mount a xs400 16 rear rim on the xs650. Im pretty sure i have seen guys on here do it but i just found a deal that seems to good to be true. the rear rim spec says 16x 2.15 i dont see how this could be a problem please let me know asap !

Assuming you are talking about the whole wheel. Smaller axle and four hole sprocket with more teeth than xs650's 34.

You'll need to swap out the bearings to ones that will take the XS axle and make a spacer for the sprocket to get the correct alignment.

Search fitting an 18 inch RD back wheel and you should find all of the info you need.

Probably easier and cheaper overall to get a 16 inch wheel off of a Special.

Thanks guys just read the article about making a spacer and the worry would be alignment still looking for the 16" rear spoked having a hard time finding one. Thanks for the help !
